Our Story

Philly in the Woods” is a tribute to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – the historic city where I lived for twenty years and established my culinary roots. Philly shaped my vision to serve sustainable foods with urban elegance and rural charm at my farm cabin in Franklin County, North Carolina – where I have lived for the past twenty-five years. My County and Non-Profit were named to honor Benjamin Franklin – elder Statesman and prominent signator of the Declaration of Independence – who lived in Philly.

Experience

Destination Dining

“Philly in the Woods” is more than a restaurant — it’s a private dining experience designed for those who appreciate great food, meaningful conversation, and a unique atmosphere. Located in a peaceful woodland setting at Lynch Creek Farm, each event blends the spirit of Philadelphia dining with the charm of rural North Carolina. Here, guests gather not just to eat, but to experience carefully curated meals with farm-to-table ingredients, and share a commitment to community service, the arts and entertainment that can’t be found at traditional restaurants.
