NC Sales Tax Reform Study Initiative

On behalf of the BEN FRANKLIN SOCIETY, Bob Radcliffe has authored a NC Sales Tax Reform Study targeted to Eliminate the Sales Tax on all Public School Purchases Statewide.

This Report was an outgrowth of the “Early College High School (ECHS) Sponsorship” we undertook in 2016 on behalf of the Franklin County Educational Foundation.

In its efforts to improve the ECHS, the Ben Franklin Society just DONATED One Computer Cart and 70 Google Chromebook Computers as part of our Goal to provide a Computer for each ECHS student. This donation is valued at nearly $16,000. More details will follow in September about the impact the Ben Franklin Society is making at ECHS.

Each of our Members should be proud of their part in making this computer donation possible! Our collective efforts are making a positive impact upon the quality of Franklin County Public Education.
